What are the dates for GOALS?

August 1st & 2nd, 2026.

What time does the convention open?

Doors open at 8:00 AM on August 1st. Early badge pick-up is available July 31st from 2:00 PM–6:00 PM.

What is the address for the Events Center?

730 3rd Street, Des Moines, Iowa 50309.

Is there parking, and how do I get around the city?

Yes. Visit the Iowa Events Center website for full parking and transportation details.

Admission & Membership

What is the cost of admission?

Admission is free for all GOA members, as well as accompanied children under the age of 18.

Can I purchase my membership at the door?

Yes—memberships can be purchased on-site at the door.

Do I need to buy a second ticket for my child?

No. Spouse and Children passes are free for members.

Do Life and Patriot members get any special benefits?

Yes. Life and Patriot members enjoy express check-in, priority seating at events and stages, and access to exclusive lounges.

Can I conceal carry?

Yes, you can conceal carry during the convention.

Is this family friendly?

Yes—GOALS is a family-friendly event.

Are outside food and drinks permitted?

No. Per the convention center’s rules, food and drinks must be purchased inside. Several vendors will be on-site at the event, and additional dining options are available around the convention center.

Can I bring my pet to the convention?

No. Only service animals are permitted on-site at the Events Center.

Will there be Wi-Fi available at the event?

Yes, dedicated Wi-Fi will be available for attendees.

Are there hotel rates available?
